Only one can be the Grim at any given time. It’s intended and created this way to maintain balance. The 7 are to work collectively to keep the worlds neutral. The more souls one gathers, the more recognition a Reaper gains. The less souls one gathers, the more they become suitable for damnation and exiled from existence.
